Located in Naperville, a western suburb of Chicago, Reaction Analytic Solutions Corporation (RAS) is a well-recognized corporation that provides special analytic consulting services for the power generation and industrial facilities. Our experts tackle engineering problems through both design evaluation and CFD simulations.
Our Chemical Engineering Ph.D.s have over 20 years of experience in evaluating systems for the combustion and air pollution control business. We have designed over 50 industrialized emission control systems that have been implemented across the globe. These systems include LNB, OFA, SNCR, DSI, ACI, SCR, and fuel switch studies. Our additional expertise lies in areas including power plant performance, gasification, and clean coal technologies.
Our experts use the Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulation as a major analytical tool to evaluate, analyze, design and optimize furnace combustion and air pollution control technologies. Our experts have experience with over 100 furnace combustion models that cover a wide spectrum of boilers, from burner design, to furnace combustion, to backend flue gas duct design and proprietary chemistry modeling.
Our mission is to bring the sciences directly to our design engineers and plant operators for best solutions to meet environmental challenges and/or operating cost reductions.
Guisu Liu, Ph.D.

A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Guisu has dedicated his past 20 years to the power industry. His technical specialties include fuel combustion theory and modeling, pollution formation chemistry, air pollution control technologies, combustion facility operation and performance, and clean coal technologies.
Guisu is specialized in CFD combustion modeling and special chemistry development. He has leadership roles in overseeing technology development and delivery worldwide. Also, he has authored and co-authored over 130 journal and conference publications and presentations, and is a well recognized expert in the industry.
